This article assumes you have already [**hacked your Nintendo Switch**](https://nh-server.github.io/switch-guide/) and **dumped your Nintendo Switch keys** (prod.keys) and firmware file(s).
This guide also illustrates how to use an untrimmed game cartridge dump (XCI file) to install firmware directly to Ryujinx.
If you haven't already downloaded Ryujinx, you can get the latest stable version from [here](https://github.com/Ryubing/Stable-Releases/releases/latest) and the latest canary build from [here](https://github.com/Ryubing/Canary-Releases/releases/latest).\
Stable allows the end user to get a more **enjoyable and stable experience**.\
Canary allow the user to get the latest features quickly, while being more unstable and possibly containing more bugs.
Ryujinx checks for updates automatically at startup. You can disable this feature if you wish in Options \> Settings . You may also check for updates manually by navigating to Help \> Check for Updates.
